Photographers near Independence Missouri

You might check out Ross Photography, they used to be on Noland road but merged a few years ago with another photo group and i think they are not off 40 hwy near 291. They were very accomodating and their packages were much cheeper than the others...plus it included a bridal portrate or engagement shoot (you choose). They work individually, so I highly reccomend having soneone on your side helping make sure the details are taken care of (like keeping track of people, making sure hair is perfect etc). This will make your photos easier to take & speed up the process!

As far as the disposable cameras are concerned...most of the time they are a waste of money. People don't make sure the flash works, take them home etc.. Consider asking a few friends to take some extra shots for you instead and offer to buy them the film & pay for developing. More often than not, they will give your the photos for free and consider it part of your wedding gift.

Another part of the expense of wedding photos is the fact that the family wants copies of the wedding photos for themselves. consider asking the photographers if they can post the photos online and let the family members order their own (to make sure you don't get stuck paying).

I personally was not going to have a photograher for my wedding, but I started to go the the bridal shows and entering my name in drawings for that and i beleive it or not won my photographer. But any how i was going to get about 100 disposal camras and just have everyone take pictures and then go through them later. That is a creative idea you may want to check into if you can't find a photographer.

You should try Fancy Photo (www.myfancyphoto.com) Thier packages are the cheapest I've seen and she's very easy to work with. She's from the north but coming to do my wedding which will be in Independence. Good luck!
