Indian Wedding

Hi, I'm trying to find a hotel that will hold an indian wedding and reception for about 250-300 people. We want to do the ceremony in the morning with catered Indian food from an Indian restaurant for lunch. The evening reception and dinner to be catered by the hotel. Is this even possilbe to find? I'm having trouble getting a hotel that allows outside catering.

adding existing children into ceremony

Reception Locations around Weston/Platte City

My fiance and I are getting married in Weston, MO, and since all of our guests are coming from out of town, we are looking for reasonably priced reception locations as nearby as possible. Any suggestions???

I have always wanted to have fireworks at my wedding. I found a dj service who will do this but the problem is, is that I need to find a site that will allow fireowrks. It has to be very inexpensive. I live south of Lee summit any ideas are welcome.

Games at reception

We were thinking of having games at our reception. Is that corny? CVS will print your pictures on decks of cards... or maybe we could do trivia, or something like that. Our wedding is small (around 60 people), and mostly family. It seemed silly to get a DJ. What do you think?

Reception Site near Independence

We are looking for a nice reception site near Independence that isn't too pricey but I would also like it to look nice. I want to be able to bring in my own caterer, DJ & photographer (we won these services at a bridal show). I really like Liberty Hills Country Club but they do not allow our own caterer. Reception without food...

How exactly would a reception work if you don't serve a meal? Is that kosher? My fiancee requested it to help lower the cost of our wedding...what do you all think about this? What would the guests do between the wedding, reception, and dance?

Reception without Music

We are planning a little wedding (about 50 people total), mostly my family. We were going to skip getting a DJ, since it's basically just my family. I am looking for other ideas, so people don't get bored... maybe an IPod in the background; maybe decks of cards with our pictures on them, or playing games like Trivia? Too Many Guests Not Enough Space

I am in the process of planning my wedding and doing so, I was putting together the guest list and the place where we are having the ceremony only holds 100 and I currently have 110 on the list. I have not get with my fiance's mother to see who we are missing, how do I tell people that they are not invited being that we wanted a small wedding. HELP!!! [neutral]
